Black Forest Cake
A collaboration pint created with the magnificently talented brooklyn-based pastry chef, Gabrielle Scelzo (@gabyscelzo).
Our Black Forest Cake Pint is vanilla ice cream swirled with cherry and kirsch syrup, dark chocolate cake and frosting, and features a pastry-case worthy topper, hand-piped by Gaby herself!
Ingredients:
Ice Cream Base: Milk, cream, sugar, salt, vanilla bean paste, egg yolks, corn starch.
Cherry Syrup: Cherries, sugar, Kirsch liquor, lemon juice, almond extract, vanilla extract.
Chocolate Cake: Flour, sugar, eggs, whole milk, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt, espresso, olive oil, vegetable oil.
Chocolate Frosting: Salted butter, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, heavy cream, salt.
Vanilla Frosting: Salted Butter, powdered sugar, heavy cream, vanilla extract, salt.
Refunds, Special Requests, and Cancellations
We're happy to honor refund requests made 24 hours prior to your scheduled pickup time.
Additionally, should a situation arise where you are not able to pick up your pint on your scheduled day, we are able to move your pickup to any other scheduled pickup date. If that doesn't work, you're always welcome to send a Taskrabbit, an Uber Courier, or a friend to pick up your order if need be!
We are not able to honor refund requests made within 24 hours and we are not able to facilitate one-off pickups outside of the preset pickup dates for the given month.
We hope to be able to be more flexible with pickup options in the future, but for now we appreciate you supporting us and our small business!
Need to Knows
Our ice cream is fresh and free of preservatives - it may melt faster than what you're used to getting right out of the freezer section. We recommend storing it in the coldest part of your freezer (typically near the back) and enjoying within a few days...we don't think that will be an issue ;)
